​When I turned 40, I found myself at an all time low. I was stressed out and overweight, which was causing anxiety, chronic body pain, and constant fatigue. I was often too tired or hurt to have fun. I was struggling with several major health concerns, and it looked like my best days were behind me.

That’s when my doctor offered me several prescriptions to help mask the pain. She warned me that I could never stop taking them, or I might have a heart attack or stroke, but this was the easy way to enjoy a few more good years. I was devastated.

That wasn’t going to work for me. I wanted more.
​
Instead, I leaned into my yoga practice and within just a few weeks, everything changed! As I started taking better care of myself, I started feeling better and living better! I got really clear about my goals, and making progress encouraged me to make even healthier choices. The weight started melting off, the pain faded away, and every day I built strength and energy to drive my day.

Today I’m 50, and I have completely redefined my future and created a life I LOVE! I became a Yoga Instructor and a Health Coach, and over the last 10 years have studied all aspects of women’s health and wellness. I developed a simple self-care plan that worked for me, even though I was super busy with a career and family to manage.
Without bragging, I can honestly say I’m in the best shape of my life! I enjoy adventurous activities like waterfall repelling, paddleboarding, and hiking. I have conquered medical issues like diabetes, hypertension, weight management, painful injuries, and perimenopause. The best part is, I did all without needing any harmful, expensive medications.
