We try to stay positive, but here’s the truth. Things aren’t always going to go how you think they will. Sometimes it all goes South quick, whether it was your fault or not.
Law of Transformation #2 teaches us: Be Willing To Come Apart
During times of total devastation, it can be easy to get sucked into the downward spiral of despair. I know, I’ve been there. I’ve faced many traumas and challenges over my life. We all have.
When I was younger, I would cry and lament and ask, “How could this happen to me?” I’m so good to people! I help where I can! Surely, I didn’t deserve this!!
In my wiser years, I recognize that absolutely, I didn’t deserve any of it. But that didn’t stop it from happening.
The important part is that with each unravelling, with each disaster, I picked myself up and found an opportunity to grow. I’ve learned many valuable lessons along the way that otherwise would have been overlooked. I’ve spent the equivalent of several years on bed rest and in surgical recovery. I used this time to take courses, and read books, to educate myself so I can help others who may go through it too.
I‘ve studied lessons that have helped me grow stronger and more centered as a person. And some of the most beautiful experiences I’ve had have come from it.
It’s in the total mess that we shed layers if distraction and move in the direction of our True Purpose.
I am no longer afraid to fall apart. I’ve actually gotten quite good at it!
Here's a Cloud Meditation I practice when things seem to be a mess. It helps me put things in a different perspective and let them go on their way. Try it with me!!
Cloud Meditation
Join me for a simple exercise in non-attachment and let go of what causes stress in your life.
Don't be afraid when it seems like everything is falling apart . This is the only way to shake loose the excess distractions and set you back on the path to living your best life. I know it doesn’t seem like it at the time, but one day you’ll look back and realize that setback was the best thing for you. I’m not saying it will be easy , but it will definitely be worth it!
